Wall-hanging Print Mockups & Print Corner Detail Images

Our sites do not currently have a built-in automated wall/size print preview feature. So, essentially you have to create these images yourself then upload the images to the website just like any other jpg image. There are various options for creating these:

1. Real photos of real prints on real walls. This is hands down the best option; however, your ability to get lots of good pictures of your prints in good lighting in an attractive room may be understandably limited.

2. Automated wall mockup software. Canvy is the easiest option I've tried. ArtPlacer is another option, but don't be tempted by their web integrations which have limited usefulness and poor performance. Mediamodifier is another interesting one except that their templates have no option to remove frames.

3. Interior room stock images. Another option is that you can buy stock packages of various interior room wall images, then place your photos in there manually. A good place find these is Creative Market, such as this room mockup bundle (and there are many others on that site too). Basically you would take one of those empty wall images and in Photoshop you would need to place one of your photos on the wall (and maybe add a subtle drop shadow effect on your image to give it a bit of depth to make it look more realistic on the wall).

4. Generative AI. I haven't actually tried this myself, but you might have luck prompting your AI bot of choice to generate an image of your photo in a room that you describe.

5. Print style & corner detail mockups. Creative Market also has Photoshop templates of close-up corner details of various print methods like metal, acrylic, or canvas prints. These templates make it easy to drop in your own photos to display in these print styles.

Once you have the image prepared you will save the jpg with the same size and specs as how you save all your other gallery jpgs for the website. You can then upload it into any text area of the site, including in each photos’ caption area. (This page explains how to upload images directly into the text, and optionally resize and position them).
